Maddalena Fazzo Cusan is a second year research master student. She is deeply interested in the philosophy behind anarchist political thought and action. She conducted academic research on this topic and implements anarchist principles of non-domination and solidarity in her daily life.
Mathijs van de Sande is assistant professor of Political Philosophy at Radboud University Nijmegen. His main fields of interest are radical democracy, anarchism and (post-)Marxism, and the democratic relevance and representative role of protest movements. In 2023 he published his first monography titled Prefigurative Democracy: Protest, Social Movements, and the Political Institution of Society (Edinburgh University Press). He is currently working on a project on the impact of the Paris Commune of 1871 and communalism as a democratic repertoire (funded by the Gerda Henkel Stiftung).
